Caution: Hot wax may cause skin burns. 3. Ensure the skin is clean before application. 4. If necessary, prep the skin with powder or antiseptic lotion. 5. Apply the wax evenly in the direction of hair growth, ensuring the strip is no wider than 1 1/2 inches. 6. Wait until the wax is no longer sticky to the touch, indicating it is ready for removal. 7. Firmly hold the skin taut and flick the lower part of the wax strip. 8. Pull the wax strip off briskly, against the direction of hair growth, keeping it close and parallel to the skin. 9. After the treatment, apply an astringent product, followed by a soothing oil or lotion.
